Wolves are known as pack animals, and bears are known to be solitary animals.

So when nature photographer Lassi Rautiainen discovered this unlikely friendship in nature, he knew he was witnessing something special and magical.

A lone female wolf lives together with a male brown bear. An extremely rare phenomenon.

Lassi said, “I think they were both alone and they were young and didn't know how to survive alone. I think they feel safer when they are together".

No matter how this strange and special friendship came about, it is a rare and beautiful thing that no one expected to see.

Lassie followed and watched the couple for 10 days. He noticed that the bear and the wolf meet every day.
