Surfers heard a dolphin cub crying for help, and rushed to the place to save his life

Mauricio Camareno and his friends were able to help mother nature in an amazing way, one that most people weren't given the opportunity to do.
The group of surfers enjoyed a sunny day on the Costa Rican coast when suddenly they heard a strange sound.
They saw something in the water. It was a pilot whale dolphin that was trapped.
The dolphin was trapped in the shallow water, the sea was at low tide and he could not return to the ocean. Time played a major role in this rescue and extraction mission. The guys struggled hard to free him.
Camerano told the Costa Rica Star newspaper that the dolphin was too exhausted to free himself and swim back to the sea. By the time they brought him back to deeper water, he was completely powerless. He struggled very hard to keep his body in such a position that he could breathe.
The surfers spent the next six hours supporting the baby dolphin so he could recover his energy. According to Camerano, they contacted the coast guard and the Ministry of Environmental Protection. But none of these entities came to help. If the surfers had left him, the dolphin would have certainly died.
The three surfers eventually managed to bring the dolphin back to the sea, and he swam freely and happily. The guys didn't get help from the authorities, but on social networks they were called heroes. And rightly so.
