Everyone has a bottle of vinegar in their kitchen.

No matter if it is in a plastic or glass bottle, it usually hides behind other bottles in the back of the closet.

But using vinegar for everyday things can be a cheap and organic way to improve the look of your home. By mixing vinegar with other household products, you will get do-it-yourself cleaning solutions that are always available and ready for work.

It is time to use this inexpensive liquid for good causes.

Here are some tricks and tips for using vinegar effectively:

2. Clean the dishwasher and coffee maker

Nothing can be worse than taking clean dishes from a stinking dishwasher or drinking disgusting morning coffee. To clean these up, add one cup of vinegar to the dishwasher and/or an empty coffee maker and turn them on. If you do this regularly once a month, the dishes will be as clean as they should be and the coffee will be delicious.

It's perfectly understandable if you scream when you see the cucumber you've forgotten in the drawer for a few weeks, or the ketchup bottle has spilled out and you have not noticed. To keep the refrigerator clean and fresh, wipe it with an equal amount of vinegar and water, and remember to clean the sides of the refrigerator.

4. Recycle smelly sponges

When a sponge is used too many times, bacteria begins to multiply. So what to do when the sponge starts to smell? Instead of throwing it in the trash, just live it up! Place the sponge in a bowl (with enough water to cover it), and add 1/4 cup vinegar. Soak during the night and the sponge will smell like new in the morning.

5. Shine Scissors

Scissors, especially those in the kitchen drawer, become sticky and dirty. Simply wipe the blades with a damp cloth soaked in vinegar and dry it. This will prevent the scissors from rusting and giving them a shiny new look.

6. Ice trays for rescue

Does the taste of your ice cubes get strange? Is the bottom of the tray covered with traces of unidentified stuff? Refresh these trays by soaking them in vinegar for 4-5 hours. Then wash thoroughly with water and dry. Use this trick and you will get the most transparent ice cubes in the world.

8. Clean dirt from the top of the shower

Sometimes when we take a shower, we feel the pressure go down and look up and see that the shower head is clogged with dirt. To combat this, sink the shower head in 1/2 cup vinegar and 1 liter of water. Tip of champions: Put the liquid in a bag and tie it to the shower head.

Most of us use the same toothbrush for several months (sometimes even more). So it's a good idea to disinfect your toothbrush. It'll be like new!

If your sink stinks a day after you washed dishes and took all the dirt out of it, perhaps it's time to pay attention to its drain. Pour in 1/2 cup baking soda powder with 1 cup of vinegar. Laundry machines with front doors are excellent when it comes to saving water, but they tend to get an unpleasant smell. 12. Great for parquet flooring

Parquet floors require treatment and many of us choose to use non-toxic detergents that are safe for children and pets. After you have finished sweeping and/or vacuuming the floor, you are ready for the wiping phase. To create this mixture, mix 1/2 cup vinegar with 4.5 liters of hot water. Wipe in the direction of the wooden boards, wring out the rag and prepare a new liquid when it becomes dirty.
