Nothing can compare to coffee in the morning. I always start my day with a cup of coffee. But in the evening, I usually drink tea.

You know how it's usually done - you boil some water, and very shortly, you have a hot glass ready - of course, after you put inside your favorite tea bag.

And a few minutes later, you take out the tea bag, throw it, and drink the tea.

But ever since my grandmother taught me some tricks you can do with old tea bags, I don't throw them away anymore.

Read on and explore these clever ideas for different uses with tea bags. You will be surprised at how useful they are - and perhaps you can save some money in the future with their help ...

1. Soothe burned skin

Take a tea bag full of black tea and rinse it with cold water.

It will be your best new friend when you burn in the sun during the summer. Black tea contains Tannic acid that helps skin heal and gives it a chill feeling.

2. Relief from mild burns

You can use the same tea bag that you used when you burned from the sun in other urgent situations.

If you accidentally get a burn, lay a tea bag on the affected area. The Tannic acid of the black tea will provide relief in the burned areas.

3. Get rid of warts

Did you know that green tea contains antioxidants that can prevent warts from growing? Take a used green tea bag after it has cooled and put it on the wart.

After 15 minutes, remove it and replace it with a new one. Leave the second tea bag for another 15 minutes. Then take a few days, and the wart will fall.

4. Put an end to swollen eyes

The Tannin found in black tea can soothe swollen eyes.

The next time you drink a cup of tea, keep the tea bag. Put it in a small container and store it in the refrigerator for a day or two. Then, when you feel it's time to do something about the bags under your eyes, take a few tea bags you kept in the refrigerator and place them on your eyes.
