And loving and caring is exactly what little Carter got from his mother while he was lying on the couch with a fever. But at some point, Mom went to another room in the house - and when she came back, she could not believe her eyes.

It turns out that someone had done her part in caring for the little boy.

And not just someone - the family's dog, Toby.

Toby must have realized that Carter needed to be comforted, so he curled up with him on the sofa and share him a company.
