Fortunately, there are wonderful natural alternatives to ibuprofen. And one of them is Turmeric.
There's not a single person who is unfamiliar with this yellowish spice. It is used in meals and spreads. And it is also known and famous for its wonderful healing properties. Turmeric contains an ingredient called Curcumin that has been scientifically proven to reduce inflammation.
In Asian and Indian culture, turmeric tea was often used as a remedy for joint pain and relaxation. And many of us can get these benefits from drinking turmeric tea even today.
- 4 glasses of water
- 2 tablespoons grated fresh turmeric root, or 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- Lemon and/or honey by taste
- Boil the water in a pot
- Once the water is boiling, add the turmeric. If you use turmeric powder, let the water continue to boil for another 15-20 minutes
- Filter the water, then add the lemon and/or honey.
