Man connects 500,000 light bulbs to his piano - when he started playing, the entire neighborhood was left speechless

When it comes to unconventional performances, The Piano Guys truly reign supreme.

We’ve seen them play on the Great Wall of China, atop Corcovado Mountain in Brazil, and down the misty hills of Scotland.

So after all that, you might not expect their latest video — set in a typical American suburban neighborhood — to be quite so impressive.

But nestled between ordinary houses, The Piano Guys once again proved that surprising performances are their bread and butter..

After spending several days setting up their equipment and staging, it was finally time for the guys to bring a bit of holiday spirit to the world.

The performance — and the accompanying light show — is an absolutely breathtaking spectacle that simply has to be seen. Especially once you realize that The Piano Guys used over 500,000 lights for this display!

Yes, 500,000 lights. That means more than 46,000 watts of electricity buzzing during this performance. And the best part? The lights were synced to the piano keys, meaning the entire lighting setup was actually controlled through the music.

With the help of several cameras — including a drone — they caused quite a stir in the neighborhood. So much so, in fact, that the police showed up to investigate the "disturbance"..

Luckily, the officers allowed them to finish filming — and for that, we’re incredibly grateful.

Since it was uploaded, the video has spread across the internet like wildfire — and it’s easy to see why.
