A Mother mowed the lawn with a baby strapped to her chest - her heart froze when a police car pulled into her driveway

There are very few things a mom can’t do. Fact.

I remember my mom juggling multiple tasks at once, all while running around the house with 3 kids, a dog, and a cat. I’m not saying she didn’t need help, but it showed me from a young age how good she was at multitasking.

And it turns out she wasn’t the only one. Mother of three, Rachel Brindley, juggled being a mom, taking care of the house, and other tasks, and she was never afraid to take on extra tasks. Because her husband was busy with his job, he didn’t have time to mow the lawn in the yard. Even though she had to take care of her four-month-old baby, Rachel decided to take on this challenge. But she had no idea that she was about to create a story that would quickly become a viral hit.

The sun was shining and Rachel and Ryan’s lawn needed mowing.

“It was a beautiful day outside so I thought I’d help my husband and mow the lawn myself”, Rachel said. “I enjoy mowing the lawn”.

So she did just that. In fact, she managed to do it with her four-month-old baby strapped to her chest in a baby carrier.

But as Rachel began mowing the lawn, her heart stopped when she saw the county sheriff pull into her driveway. The young mother panicked, thinking she was in trouble for something she might have done.

She later wrote on Facebook: “So listen, I thought I was in trouble or something..”

But the officer wasn’t there to stop her or give her a ticket.

“This sweet sheriff pulled over and insisted on mowing the lawn for me..”

When he saw Rachel trying to mow the lawn with her baby strapped to her, the officer decided he couldn’t just drive away. Instead, he stopped the car and offered to mow the lawn for Rachel!

Husband Ryan said: “It may be a small gesture, but it was a huge help to my wife that day”.

Since Rachel shared her story on Facebook, it has been shared more than 17,000 times. What a wonderful gesture from the officer!

Sometimes all we need is a little help in our daily lives. It’s wonderful to see that when Rachel needed help, a stranger was there for her.
